Learn how to display MBD for ANSYS animations in the RecurDyn Viewer.
MBD for ANSYS Animation and Plot
The Load Animation function allows you to display both the MBD for ANSYS animation and the simulation results in RecurDyn Viewer/Plot.
To use the Load Animation function in the Plot Window, perform the following steps:
- Open RecurDyn Viewer/Plot. On the Home tab, in the View group, click Window. In the dropdown menu, select the number of windows to display and the position of the windows. (You can display up to 4 Plot Windows for each plot document. The above example displays two windows at the top of the screen.)
- Select the window in which to draw the plot. In the Database pane on the right side of the screen, double-click the data that you want to display in the selected window. Select the window in which to display the animation. On the Tool tab, in the Animation group, click Load Animation. When the following message appears, click Yes.
Load MBD for ANSYS animation in the RecurDyn Viewer
- When the animation loads, additional functions are activated in the View Control Toolbar.
- On the Tool tab, in the Animation Control group, click the play button to start the time bar on the plotted graph.
Thus, you can display the MBD for ANSYS animations and simulation results using the RecurDyn Viewer/Plot.
