If you see the message "Unable to Stop Server. Check the License search path and VD status." when clicking the 'Stop Server' button and the server does not stop properly, this issue may occur if the PC where the FunctionBay License Server is installed is frequently rebooted, preventing the server from running normally.
Unable to Stop Server. Check the License search path and VD status.
To resolve this:
- Press the Windows key and search for 'Services', then run it.
- In the list, find 'FunctionBay License Manager (FBLMD)' and double-click to open its properties.
- Click the 'Stop' button. Once stopped, click the 'Start' button and confirm that the 'Service Status' shows 'Running'.
- Click 'Apply' and 'OK' to close the properties window.
