If the model size of MBD for ANSYS is big, it may take long time to launch RecurDyn Viewer until you review the result.

If you don't change the CAD graphics and use the same body, joint, force, ..., and you just change the input parameters (such as mass, spring coefficient, and others...), there is a workaround to save time to review the result.

To use this workaround, you need to launch RecurDyn Viewer once.

1. You need to launch RecurDyn Viewer and review the results using MBD for ANSYS once.

2. You change the parameters and run multibody simulation again.

3. While the model of #1 is still open, you can import the animation (*.ran) or plot file (*.rplt) directly to RecurDyn Viewer.

Since the model is already open, you can save time to load the model, and importing the animation or plot file is quite fast.

Please refer to the below article if you want to know where the result files are saved.

How can I backup the result files of MBD for ANSYS? (What do I need to backup?)
