When you create a model with RecurDyn, adding a background image to it makes it look more sophisticated.
Here's how to apply a background image:
- Create a box shape (body) that is not related to the simulation.
- When creating it, set the size of (1920, 1080, 5) in body edit mode.

After that, check 'Use Picture' in the Properties dialog box of the body and specify the image file.
- (only bmp format is supported.)
- Then, the specified image will be displayed on the box.

To prevent distorting the size and color of the image;
- Make the ratio of the image size the same as the width and height of the box.
- Set the color of the box to white.
The specified image will then be displayed on the box as shown below.
Use it as a background after fixing the body with a fixed joint.
The size of the box can be changeable. However, the image's aspect ratio should be matched the ratio of the box size.
