MBD for ANSYS can be very beneficial for performing a structural analysis of the carrier in a planetary gear system that is rotating high-speed. The forces acting on a gear carrier can be accurately predicted in a simulation of the multibody dynamics of the gear system. A wide range of differing conditions can be simulated in ANSYS Workbench environment
Then MBD for ANSYS can directly transfer the loads acting on the carrier into a structural analysis model in ANSYS.
