RecurDyn has various settings, such as:
1. Gravity settings
2. Display settings - icon color, background color, etc...
3. Simulation settings - number of solver cores used, initial velocity option, etc...
4. Other settings
However, since these settings are stored in the model, some users may have to manually modify the settings again whenever creating a new model.
In fact, RecurDyn has a function called 'Set Default' that allows users to specify and preserve their settings as default, so that when opening a new model, the modified settings are applied.
This 'Set Default' button, when clicked, saves all settings in the current Setting group, so that these settings are preserved when opening new models in the future.
However, when opening files saved in the past, the settings stored in those files are applied.
These settings can also be easily applied to other models through Export/Import, and it's also possible to revert to RecurDyn's initial settings through Reset All.
