Various software programs use the FlexNet license server program for license authentication.
If you use the default settings without changing any settings in the license setup program, the program will assign the default port number to each software.
In such cases, multiple software programs might end up using the same port, leading to license conflicts.
You can assign a unique port number to each software license to resolve this issue.
Please see below for setting instructions.
- Assign a port number to the license received from your RecurDyn agent. To do this, open the license in a text editor, then add a space after the Physical Address and specify the desired port number.
- Example) SERVER hostname 0017082a9867 27500 → If the port number is specified as 27500
Restart the RecurDyn license server using the license assigned to the port number as above. However, when using a license with a port number, you must set it as follows in RecurDyn License Manager.
- Example) 27500@hostname → If the port number is specified as 27500 3:29 PM 2024-07-16
