During RecurDyn installation, you may occasionally encounter the following message:

  • An error (-5006: 0x80070020) occurred while running the installation.

This error indicates that the installation failed to initialize while copying the installation files. It may occur because the installation files are already in use by another process.

This issue is commonly caused by real-time scanners in anti-virus programs, firewalls, or similar software. If you have anti-virus software installed on your Windows system, please temporarily disable it and try the installation again.
