With RecurDyn's Pre Analysis function, you can easily check the DOF (Degree of Freedom) of the RecurDyn model you are working on.
To check the DOF of a model, perform the following steps.
◾On the Analysis tab in the Simulation Type group, click Pre.
◾Click the Simulate button to start simulation. Then, right-click the Output Window, and click Open MSG file in the context menu to open the *.msg file that contains the analysis results for the model. In the .msg file, locate the Kinematic Degree of Freedom entry to determine the DOF of the model.
