As no deformation occurs in a rigid body, its surfaces never come into contact with each other. In contrast to this, an FFlex body can deform, causing its surfaces to come into contact with each other. If your model includes such a flexible body, then you can create patch sets on the body and define the contact between them. Using this method, you can define the contact that occurs between the patch sets belonging to the same body.
The following model creates two patch sets for one body and defines the contact that occurs when the surfaces come into contact with each other.
