By default, RecurDyn supports multi-core CPU computing. RecurDyn can use up to 4 cores to run simulations, and you can specify the number of cores that the program can use in the Simulation dialog window.
To apply or edit the multi-core processing option, perform the following steps:
◾On the Home tab, in the Model Setting group, click Simulation.
◾ In the Simulation dialog window that appears, on the General tab, specify the number of cores to use in the Number of Core field.
◾Auto (cleared) : Users can specify the number of cores to use. (Number of cores: 1 to 16)
◾Auto (selected) : Automatically adjust the number of cores RecurDyn uses to optimize performance on the current workstation.
◾Dual-core : 2 cores
◾Quad-core : 4 cores
◾Octa-core : 4 cores (RecurDyn supports up to four cores.)
If you want to use more than 4 cores, then you need an additional license.
