For co-simulation with RecurDyn or MBD for ANSYS, the full path of MATLAB.exe must be specified.
You may find that there are 2 MATLAB.exe after you install MATLAB.
1) $matlabroot\bin 2) $matlabroot\bin\<arch> (eg.$matlabroot\bin\win64)
The 'matlab.exe' in the bin folder is just a wrapper for the ‘matlab.exe’ in bin\<arch>
But for co-simulation, we recommend you to use MATLAB.exe in $matlabroot\bin\<arch>.
For example, C:\Program Files\MATLAB\R2018a\bin\win64\MATLAB.exe
