Sometimes, you may meet a license problem when you launch RecurDyn or MBD for ANSYS.
This is the check lists you can refer to.
- Please read the license error message carefully. usually, it includes very useful information, such as:
- Cannot find license file
- No such feature exists.license is already expired.
- Feature has expired.
- and others…
- Please check if the license server is ON.
- Please check if the license file is in the valid directory. (You need to have a permission to access it.)
- Some users reported that the license didn’t work on the laptop.
- When a PC (or usually a laptop) which has both of Ethernet adapter and the wireless LAN adapter, this problem can occur. (fortunately, in most of the cases, it doesn’t occur.)
- In this case,
- You need to make sure which physical address you are using. (of Ethernet adapter or of wireless LAN adapter)
- Please try to inactivate the adapter which is nothing to do with the license file
- Please try to inactivate the bluetooth
