GearKS and BearingKS, the components of RecurDyn/DriveTrain were developed as a collaboration between FunctionBay and KISSsoft. Using these toolkits, users can create the gears in accordance with international standards and use the various bearing libraries in RecurDyn environment.

Also, engineers now can simulate behaviors of entire system including gears and bearings using the co-simulation between RecurDyn solver and KISSsoft solver embedded in RecurDyn, that enables the fast and accurate gear contact analysis.

The software covers all standard gear types, shafts, bearings, shaft-hubs, screws, springs etc. and handles everything from individual machine elements up to the automatic sizing of entire gear-boxes.
