How can I find or verify the arguments used in an Expression function?

Expression functions are very useful in RecurDyn.

However, it is not easy to remember the arguments to Expression functions.

In such cases,

  1. Enter the function name in the input area below the Name box.
  2. Highlight the function name.
  3. Right-click the selected text,
  4. Click Help.

A Help dialog box will appear on the right side of the Expression dialog box that contains the definition, format, argument list and an example of the function that you selected.

You can also select an Expression function by name from the Available list. Left-click to select the name of an Expression function from the list, and then right-click it to display a Help dialog box containing the definition, format, argument list, and an example of that function.

We also offer a printable version of RecurDyn's Expression Function Handbook.

Please refer to the Expression Function Handbook if you want.

Please check the following video to learn how to display a Help dialog box.
