Starting from RecurDyn V9R5, it is now possible to set bodies and groups as inactive or revert them back to an active status. (RecurDyn 2023 also supports this feature for subsystems.)

If a body is changed to the inactive state, any joints or forces connected to that body will also be changed to the inactive state. Once the body becomes inactive, the connected joints and forces becomes useless.

Therefore, when returning the body to the active state, it is necessary to also return all connected joints and forces to the active state.

In this case, simply turning off the inactive setting in the menu is not sufficient. If only the body is set to active, the other connected entities will remain inactive.

If you want to change all connected entities to the active state, you need to select the menu option called 'Activate Related Entities Together.'
