In RecurDyn V8R5, eTemplate/Professional can be used for free.
RecurDyn/eTemplate is a tool that enables RecurDyn model data to be stored in Microsoft Excel spreadsheets.
RecurDyn/eTemplate can read the data in a spreadsheet and create a model in RecurDyn from the data.
In many countries, a lot of RecurDyn users are using eTemplate to customize RecurDyn or automate the modeling process of RecurDyn.
This article intoduces how to plot the frequently used result items automatically using eTemplate.
For example, if you plot the item, 'Body-Pos_TX' after simulation or 'Joint-Pos1_Relative' or Joint-Friction_Torque', you can just specify them on eTemplate model(Excel file) and automate the process 1) to launch Plot 2) to draw the curves of the specified items.
In a similar way, you can automate the process to change the parameters of a model, to run simulation and to draw the curves of the spcific items after simulation.
Please download the example model from the above link and try to change the parameters using the example excel file (eTemplate model).
