To create an RFlex body in RecurDyn, an RFI file (modal data of a flexible body) is needed.
RFI files can be generated from third-party modal analysis softwares (NX Nastran, ANSYS, ANSYS/DesignSpace, IDEAS, and MSC/Nastran, Autodesk Simulation Mechanical and Altair OptiStruct)
In particular, RFI files can be generated from NX Advanced using its UI of NX. The movie below shows how to generate an RFI file from a specific part of the RecurDyn model using NX Advanced Simulation.
You can find a tutorial that shows how to generate an RFI file using RFlexGen in the RecurDyn environment.
