Advantages of FFlex and RFlex

FFlex

RecurDyn/FFlex (Full Flex) lets you combine the power of Finite Element Analysis (FEA) and Multibody Dynamics (MBD) to increase the accuracy of your simulations. With RecurDyn/FFlex, you can define a flexible body by importing an FEA mesh. RecurDyn/FFlex provides the most benefit in situations where flexible bodies are in contact with other bodies, or where the effects of nonlinear deformation on system performance need to be assessed. icon-09.png

FFlex Thermal

The FFlex Thermal function can perform heat transfer analysis using only RecurDyn without using other software. Since the heat transfer analysis results are reflected in real-time in the flexible multi-body dynamics analysis, the effects of thermal deformation or thermal stress on the flexible body can be easily confirmed. It is now possible to perform the dynamic analysis considering thermal stress for the system's structure and parts that generate a lot of thermal energy and improve the design for reliable system operation.

FFlex Static

The powerful N-R Static Solver enables stable and accurate Static Equilibrium State calculations for Rigid and RFlex bodies. FFlex Static can perform static analysis of nonlinear MFBD models that include FFlex bodies and support static analysis of an MFBD model considering not only self-contact of the FFlex body but also contacts with other bodies. icon-09.png

RFlex

RecurDyn/RFlex (Reduced Flex) gives you fast simulations with flexible bodies in your multibody systems. RecurDyn/RFlex represents flexible bodies using modal information that is output from Finite Element Analysis (FEA) software. RecurDyn/RFlex also includes options to export body loads to FEA. icon-09.png

RFlexGen

RecurDyn/RFlexGen is a toolkit to create RFlex bodies (RFI files) in RecurDyn. This allows to create RFI files within RecurDyn for RFlex-based flexible body dynamics analysis without any additional FE software. icon-09.png
